sounds good to me.I hope the balljoints/tierods work on the whole assembly.I was goin to use the mx3 brakes if possible and just swap brake lines.Thanks for the help PAT.

im guessin you have the mounts too....just to give you a heads up there is some fabbing your goin to have to do.You have to get 1.8L hubs and spindles,you have to fab a thottle cable bracket,you have to run different power steering lines,rig up the fuel lines to adapt together,different radiator set...

ha...well my boss has the space to use for now.Im glad i dont have to do this swap in a garage or outside.

yeah i know..i originally wanted a protege but here in wisconsin there isnt much to choose from.This was the only 5spd platform i could find and plus whos gunna suspect a grocery getter with some decently large balls...

I started the kl swap on my 94 escort wagon a few days ago.Im trying to get the car ready for the new drivetrain.The cars got 167k on it so im figthing with broken bolts,broken endlinks,etc.So far ive got the whole harness outta the car,the motor and trans are coming out today,the hubs should be off...

i dont own a mx3 but im building a 94 escort wagon with the kl swap so i was wondering if theres anybody in or around waukesha/milwaukee that could give me some assistance swapping the electrial harness.Im deathly afraid of wiring and id like to get this swap done in another week or so.

i have a 94 escort with the 1.9L and im doin the kl swap.I have a donor mx3 gs and i was told i need to swap hubs with either some bp hubs or gs hubs.Does anybody know or anybody tried swapping the hubs from a gs to an escort lx? If so, should/can i use the stock escort rotors,calipers,etc?

im knee deep in my kl swap on my escort.I ended up pulling the whole harness out from the fusebox to the ecu.I noticed the whole charging system and basically all the wiring under the hood was in the same bundle of wires so i got rid of everything.Im goin to be using a mx3 gs harness so i have a few...

i have heard that there are a few f2t powered mx3s runnin around the midwest.im interested in the swap but i have an escort currently and they are similar.if your not familiar with the motor im talkin about, the f2t is the motor found in the 1st gen(88-92)ford probe and mazda mx6/626 turbo models......
