THanks Lynz,

Ran a bunch of errands on my lunch break.

Hit up the mazda dealership. 4 bushings and 2 bolts came out to $23 including tax.

Leaving to Montreal tomorow. Will be putting 1300KM on my mx-3 before the week is over, so will be doing this tonight.

I dont think I could take 10 hours of driving with that rattle.

Ahh gives me hope... :) I feel like a putz... been too busy (read lazy) to pick up the bushings and give 30 mins of my time to fix this most annoying of all problems. rebel_princess_lynz: which bearings did you end up using and how much did they cost. The SRD ones look nice.. but im too strapped for...

it looks like after you purchase the struts you need to invest about $400 more in aditional crap. SO if i could do the back first it would help a little for budgetting.

ZX2 Strut conversion question

My rear stuts are done and I need them replaced fairly soon. Wondering about the ZX-3 struts and how they compare to stock? What are the best springs to use with them? Is it advisable to do both front and back struts or can I just do the back for now and hold off doing the front? Will the recomended...

i just bought a little clamp for home depot and hang it from a string from the hatch so when i open the hatch i just clip it onto the silver part of the rod arm.
It offers enough resistance to keep it open.

I remember when I was looking at getting my first car. I had always been obsessed with 1st and 2nd gen RX-7s for as long as i could remember. Insurance was about $200 a month for liability and no collision. So i started to look at another option, i figured the MX-3 would be a nice car to get instead...

I think its interesting that formula 1 cars have more drag then a Hummer. This is to create enough down force so they dont go airborn when they hit a bump or turbulence from other vehicals. Something i have been wondering. Has anyone done any underbody fairing... i couldnt imagine anyone doing this ...

so the mx-3 is 0.32 Cd and the VW Beetle is 0.38.. http://www.max-mpg.com/html/tech/main.htm This guy reduced the Cd of his VW Beetle to 0.28 with a custom made spoiler to improve the aerodynamics surely we could improve upon the sleak and stylish MX-3 if the ugly a-- beetle can get that low.
