jamario PostPosted: 24 April 2006, 09:29 Post subject: I'm planning to buy a Fidanza short shifter. Is this a good decision. Does anybody has this mod After doing a little research, I think B&M is the way to go. Although Fidanza produces very good products, it doesn't seem too different from a P...

B&M tight?
That's very strange to me that your B&M feels tight and takes a bit of effort to operate, Jay. I had no problems whatsoever the second I got my car off the jacks and drove off. I immediately noticed a MUCH smoother shift into every gear, definetly more so than my stock shifter. I can't see that ...

o-rings and spring
Hey, I just installed my B&M shifter. Did you reuse the top O-ring and the retaining spring like the instructions said? I pushed the shifter into the rubber seating as far as I thought I should and there was no way I could reuse those parts. If I did shove that entire blue pivot housing in I do...

go B&M
I'd recommend B&M for the job. I just did the swap about a week ago; it was pretty easy and the feel is outstanding. I'm not quite sure why, but I can now get the tires to chirp into second, where I couldn't before. Just my 2 cents

Re: shade says>>
But they are worth too little that its not worth putting much monies in them One will never get , not even a fraction, of what one puts into them. In my opinion, this is one aspect of the MX-3 that makes it very appealing. Perhaps not the fact that we will never get a fraction of what we put in, bu...

hmmm, which one?
So I guess the million dollar question is, or the $179 USD question, which option is best? Should we fork out the cash and grab a PRM, or should we go for the cheaper SOHC intake... or an integra intake? Does it matter? Is this just all personal preference, or are their actual performance differences?

Re: Hopefully the LAST intake thread
I have read that the two engine bays are not compatable. After researching, the DOHC & SOHC engines being different but the way they route the intake is basicly the same . the SOHC intake will work on the car. I bought it but never installed it because i have a prm. I didnt like the way it put ...

Hopefully the LAST intake thread
Ok guys, before I start, I did do a lot of research on the subject through these forums until my eyes felt like they were going to fall out of my head. I searched for CAI, intake and K&N and read posts as far back as early 2004 and just couldn't go on. With that said, I did find answers to most ...

What the heck?
I'm not sure what the hell is going on here, but I'm averaging about 340 miles to the tank, which is approximately 33mpg. I have a 95' Mx-3 RS, no mods, and the driving was gentle for about 98% of the time. I try not to get on my car at all. Now, the part I am confused on is why the EPA estimates fo...
