Re: Transmission swap not starting...
ok guys here is the update. No spark from the ignition coil. don't have a resistance meter handy so I cannot test the coil as of now. So, why would the coil not be sending spark. I know that the car started fine before the transmission swap. nothing changed with the engine what could I have missed t...

Re: axle's not releasing from transmission
I don't really care about the case anymore. the new transmission is in the car already and the differential is shot so I may resort to breaking the case if neccesary.
I will have to try hitting them int the trans to see if that loosens them up. I can at least get a good hit that direction

Re: axle's not releasing from transmission

I cannot even get the axles out of it. before I pulled the old transmission the car started but ran rough(bad plug wire). did the swap, used the old backup light switch and old neutral safety switch that worked prior. I am going to do a coi...

Re: B6 SOHC to a B6 DOHC

Re: B6 SOHC to a B6 DOHC
Cool, thank you very much, you have recieved Karma there for the help too. Who knows the interior is in better shape so I may have to swap some pieces from that too. and the back bumper cover is 100% better than mine, and may swap the power windows as well. If the tranny is bolt on then the car shou...

Re: B6 SOHC to a B6 DOHC
We have spoken over there before and when I was looking down the forums I saw you name as the most recent post so I fugured it was worth a try. And the transmission will bolt up ok to a SOHC. If this is the case I will get the car for sure and steal all the other parts I want off of it. Thanks, Jason

Okay here is the situation. My car is a 93 B6 Sohc, the transmission is gone completely. I found a car on craigslist that they want $200 for that the front end is totaled. it looks like everything is ok but the distributor cap and the intake tract on the motor. I was wondering how bad of a swap it w...

Re: [WTB] B6 SOHC Transmission
I have checked every junkyard within about 50 miles of me that I know of and cannot find one that is in decent condition. the only one that I found that was even remotely possible was a 323 but there was a small crack in the bellhousing and absolutly no body damage and the engine started so I figure...
