Thanks guys for that i will be looking at getting rid of the stock filter anyway and replacing with a K&N or similar cotton filter which offers less resistance so ill probably get rid of the duct then and cover it with something secure. Have a happy new year :D

Resonance Duct

Quick question i have been informed removing the resonance duct off the airflow intake pipe and replacing with an elbow or similar will give a few extra HP as its basically a restriction on the airflow system designed too muffle sound. Anyone done this? Does it work?

Anti Virus

For my part id say kaspersky was an excellent anti virus not your normal bloat wear. And Zone Alarm for an effective firewall. Dont forget to remove those admin shares too ( c$ d$ etc ) as your get hacked sooner or later otherwise. :)

Thanks for all the replies guys weather has been bloody freezing at the moment so not really been under the bonnet too much. I have never tried tried Seafoam although i have used injector cleaner on it. Ill have too look into that one. From what i have read on the subject i would have thought if it ...
